I am very pleased to be able to show here the collection of my paintings as an on-line album.
My connection with Art during my studies and career in banks both in Budapest, Hungary and in London, England did not go beyond appreciation, yet I have always dreamt to pick up the brush one day.
I dedicate this “On-line Album” to the Memory of my Husband, without his encouragement and love I would not have been able to start and develop my hobby of painting.
I have always thought that to paint scenes of nature, seascapes, landscapes is a tribute to God and to His awesome creation.
“The talents of artists reflect God’s splendor, – may their work give the world hope and joy!” – the Breviary, the prayer-book, states it so clearly.
To paint man-made objects, such as buildings, old and new, also gives delight and challenge for the artist.
I use Oil, Acrylic, and Pastel as painting media.
I studied Art through correspondence/distance education at the Universal Career Institute of Montreal, Canada. I have also enriched my knowledge continuously with the help of further Art courses and books about painting in various media.
I have been a member of the North Shore Artists’ Guild, formerly West Vancouver Sketch Club, since 1992.
